noticed something deeply disturbing today...i belong to a minority in my hall...english is my first language. well....firstly..there are plenty of foreigners around..so they obviously feel more comfortable speaking their mother tongue..amongst the locals...so many converse in mandarin..i was shocked when i found out. i was making friends with the block cats (2 of them)..and some neighbours living in my block...and they all speak mandarin. the guys at least. it was kinda funny watching them switch to english just to accomodate me. hahaha..it's not that i don't understand mandarin...i do...i just don't speak it..don't ask why..i just don't. (:
inter-block games tmr...netball. oh yes..i didn't get dance..but no worries..i'll take part in sports then....get down to losing weight! (:
